Congratulations to the 23 Juniors chosen as High School Aerospace Scholars!23 Juniors from SEM were recently chosen as High School Aerospace Scholars at NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC). They will take an on-line course during the spring semester to prepare them for the program this summer where they will have hands-on experience at JSC in Houston under the guidance of NASA engineers and certified Texas teachers. Scholars who successfully complete the program receive science elective credit.
The students are: Oscar Cetina, Patricia Cheney, Lennett Cruz, Karen De La Fuente, Michael Fremming, Mariela Gomez, Alfredo Gutierrez, Xuan Lien Ho, LeaAnn Love, Elizabeth Martinez, Salvador Moreno, Tyler Morgan, Liliana Osorio, Juan Pedroza, Raul Rios, Andrea Robinson, Marcial Sanchez, Cindy Santillan, Mark Sears, Darrius Shaw, Rafael Soto, Nicole Suarez and Bianca Tamez-Buccino.
Seven Seniors participated in the program last summer. They did a great job recruiting for this year's program!
